kINVER canal Kayak HIRE
Hire our sturdy sit on top kayaks and go paddling on the beautiful Canal in Kinver, near Stourbridge. This is the ideal water sports experience for families and beginners and anyone looking to combine kayaking with a trip to the pub afterwards!
We're based at The Vine Inn, Kinver. Here you can enjoy a 90 minute kayak trip along this pretty stretch of the Kinver Canal, followed by a yummy woodfired pizza & drinks in the canalside garden at The Vine. The perfect afternoon! Our Kayak hire is available every weekend and everyday in the school holidays. Bookings are to be made in advance via our online booking system or you can book on the day (subject to availability).

Suitable for: Age 5+
Notes for families with children: Children age 5-9 need to be in a 2 or 3 x seater kayak with an adult (age 18+). Children age 10+ can be in a 1 or 2 x seater kayak without an adult as long as an adult is accompanying them on the canal in a separate kayak.
Kayak Hire time: Kayak hire on the Kinver canal is for 90 minutes which allows you plenty of time to explore the 2.8km stretch of canal to the first lock and back. We recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment on the day.
Price: £15 per adult & £12 for under 18's or £20 for a solo kayak (Should you want pizza & drinks at the pub, this is an extra charge, payable directly to The Vine Pub. Please visit their Facebook Page for more info)
Open: We're open Easter holidays, Weekends April-Sept, May 1/2 term and the Summer holidays. Choose a time on booking (11am, 12:45, 2.30pm or 4.15pm).
Dog Friendly Activity: Bring your dogs along to join in on the kayaking fun. We recommend booking a 3 x seater for 2 people + dog/s, which is one of the larger kayaks. Dogs are free.
